Here are a few of the experiences my family has enjoyed throughout the years across Hendricks County and the greater Indianapolis area. Most of these destinations are within a 30–40-minute drive from Plainfield or Avon, making them perfect for a weekend adventure or a quick family outing.
During the winter months, our family loves going rock climbing at Climb Time Indy—a great way to stay active indoors. After a few hours of climbing, we often stop by Dave & Busters for arcade games and dinner. Another local favorite is Duck Pin Bowling in Fountain Square—historic, charming, and always a good laugh.
